Unitary Method:
The method in which first we find the value of one unit and then the value of required numbers of units is known as Unitary Method.
Illustration: Suppose the cost of 6 cans is Rs.210. Find the cost of 4 cans?
Solution: Using the unitary method,
we first find the cast of 1 can.
It is Rs. or Rs. 35. From this, we find the price of 4 cans as Rs. 35*4 or 140.
A radio set costs Rs. 122.75. Then the cost of 5 such radio sets is___________ | |||
